Stripe ending Bitcoin support
The news of the day is Stripe ending Bitcoin support.

Stripe provided Bitcoin as a payment option since mid-2014.
Bitcoin payments will not be accepted after April 23, 2018.

This is bad news for the Bitcoin ecosystem, but it’s a sound decision from Stripe.
You can read the official announcement here.

What it all means for WP Full Stripe:

  1. If you don’t accept Bitcoin payments then you don’t have to do anything.
  2. We are going to release an update to WP Full Stripe on April 20, 2018.
The update will remove Bitcoin functionality from the plugin.
  3. Stripe is going to start blocking Bitcoin payments on April 23, 2018.
If you don’t remove your Bitcoin payment forms then Bitcoin payments will fail for your customers.
