Subscribers cannot log in to the "Manage subscriptions" page

They receive the security code in email required to log in to the "Manage subscriptions" page but the login process is stuck at entering an email address.

What happened?

A subscriber would like to log in to the “Manage subscriptions” page:

  1. Subscriber submits her email address
  2. Subscriber receives an email with the security code required to log in
  3. The login process is stuck at entering an email address

Why is it happening?

Your website is cached, and the cache serves the “Enter an email address” page no matter where the subscriber is in the login process.

What is the solution?

Exclude the “Manage subscriptions” page from caching.

Caching plugins have a dedicated “exclusion list” for this purpose, add the URL of your “Manage subscriptions” page.
