Stripe account name is not displayed on the checkout page

When the plugin opens a checkout form, the Stripe account name is not displayed in the header.

What happened?

When a Stripe checkout form is opened, the Stripe account name is not displayed in the header: Stripe checkout form - Stripe account name is not displayed

Why is it happening?

Stripe is configured to display only a logo, not an icon plus the name of the Stripe account.

What is displayed in the checkout form header?

The following items influence what you see in the checkout form header:

  • Stripe account name
  • Logo uploaded to the Stripe account
  • Icon uploaded to the Stripe account
  • Options on the Branding page of the Stripe dashboard

Set the Stripe account name

You can set the Stripe account name in the “Account Information” section of the “Settings” page: Stripe account settings - Account information

Set the “Account name” property: Stripe account information - Account name

Set logo and icon

You can set the logo and icon in the “Branding” section of the “Settings” page: Stripe account settings - Branding

Upload logo and icon: Stripe branding - Upload logo and icon

What is the solution?

If you would like to display the Stripe account name and logo, then you have to uncheck the “Use logo instead of icon” checkbox at the bottom of the branding page: Stripe branding - Use logo?

With these settings in place, icon and the Stripe account name is displayed in the header: Stripe checkout form - Stripe account name is displayed
